Allyson Bennett is a classical vocalist with a passion for operatic & song repertoire.

Debuting recently at the John F. Kennedy Center as a winner of the VSA International Musicians Award Program, she soon returned to that stage in a scene as Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro) with the AAMS Emerging Artists Program. Her most recent role engagement was covering Tosca in Tosca with Opera51.

An active competitor, Ms. Bennett was named Boston District Winner by the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She won First Place for Rising Talents of the Americas 2020 with the Great Composers Competition Series. She was awarded Third Place prize in the Vienna New Year's Concert International Music Competition 2023-24.

She has performed notable roles such as First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Eva (An American Dream), Madame Lidoine (Dialogues of the Carmelites), Mimì (La Bohème), and Valletto (L’incoronazione di Poppea). Her partial role credits include Nedda in Pagliacci and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni through New England Conservatory, as well as Senta in Der fliegende Holländer with the Boston Wagner Institute.

Noteworthy concerts in recent years include a solo recital with the Montpelier Arts Center in Maryland, a guest soloist appearance with Parkway Concert Orchestra, premiering Flora Sun’s “難波津に (Naniwa-zu ni)”, appearing with NEC’s Wind Ensemble singing Dvořák’s Song to the Moon, performing Elena Firsova's The Birth of a Smile in Russian with trombone quartet and vibraphone, and creating a solo-produced a benefit recital to fundraise for Breonna Taylor's family with Sparrow Live.

Ms. Bennett is an alumna of New England Conservatory, as well as young artist programs such as Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
