Allyson Bennett is a classical vocalist with a passion for operatic & song repertoire.
She most recently made her Kennedy Center debut as a winner of the VSA International Musicians Award Program, performed a solo recital with the Montpelier Arts Center in Maryland, covered Tosca in Tosca with Opera51, and performed First Lady in Die Zauberflöte with New England Conservatory.
Allyson won First Place for Rising Talents of the Americas 2020 with GCC and was named Boston District Winner by the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
She has performed scenes as Nedda in Pagliacci and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni through NEC, and Senta in Der fliegende Holländer with the Boston Wagner Institute.
She has performed notable roles such as Eva (An American Dream), Madame Lidoine (Dialogues of the Carmelites), Mimì (La Bohème), and Valletto (L’incoronazione di Poppea). She premiered Flora Sun’s “難波津に (Naniwa-zu ni)”, appeared with NEC’s Wind Ensemble singing Dvořák’s Song to the Moon, performed Elena Firsova's The Birth of a Smile with trombone quartet and vibraphone, and solo-produced a benefit recital to fundraise for Breonna Taylor's family with Sparrow Live.
Allyson studies under Jane Eaglen.
